Mersey Care is hosting sessions aimed at family members supporting new parents with their baby called Nans in the know.
The sessions are not limited to Nans, anyone taking a role in supporting new parents (including foster carers) are welcome.
New mums are most likely to ask for advice and support from family members rather than a health care professional, the opinion of the extended family is highly influential when deciding on feeding choices.
- Infant feeding
- Starting solids
- Sleep safety
- Tummy time
- Relationship building.
The first session is at the Feelgood Factory in Netherton on 4 November 12pm until 1.30pm.
Refreshments will be provided.
There are plans to have this session at week five of our Getting to Know Your Baby sessions by BABS (Building Bonds and Attachments), in the new year.
We welcome families expecting a new baby or those supporting a new family. There is no need to book a place (to just turn up).
