Our friendly Busom Buddies team is made up of health professionals and mums from the local community who have breastfed their own babies and want to help other mums do the same.
We write to women early on in their pregnancy to let them know about the support we offer and will visit families in their homes for the first eight weeks after having their baby to support them with breastfeeding.
We also work closely with staff at Whiston, Ormskirk and Liverpool Women’s Maternity Hospitals.
