Behaviours can be hard for the person who is using them. Usually we can work together to find new or different ways of working.

family and friends

The team work with the families and staff too. We want everyone to work as a team to make things better.

The team will ask questions and spend lots of time with the person and their family and staff to try and understand what is happening.

The ISF will work with the person and other important people to make a Positive Behaviour Support plan. This is sometimes called a PBS plan.

Female

A PBS plan helps people understand why the behaviours are happening, and what can be done to help the person.
