Our Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Mersey Care held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 18 September 2025 at the Trust's headquaters, V7 Building, Kings Business Park, Prescot, L34 1PJ.
This year's AGM was only available to attend in person, and not online, as capacity was limited. Those who attended heard our Executive Team present an overview of the Trust’s performance, challenges and achievements over the last 12 months, our financial position and delivery of our quality priorities. We held the 2025 Annual General Meeting at the Trust's headquarters, V7 Building, Kings Business Park, Prescot, L34 1PJ on Thursday 18 September 2025.
The event provided an opportunity to find out more about the Trust while we reviewed some of our highlights from the last 12 months.
The meeting included hearing speeches from Chair Rosie Cooper, Chief Executive Officer Trish Bennett, Chief Medical Officer Dr Noir Thomas and Chief Finance Officer Rob Collins.
Given the financial constraints facing the NHS, the decision was made to deliver the AGM on a smaller scale with no market stalls and refreshments only including tea, coffee and water.
We held this year’s Trust AGM at Aintree Racecourse on Wednesday 25 September 2024.
The event provided an opportunity to find out more about the Trust whilst we reviewed some of our highlights from the last 12 months.
The meeting included hearing speeches from Chair Rosie Cooper, Chief Executive Officer Prof Joe Rafferty CBE, Chief Executive Officer Designate Trish Bennett and members of the Board of Directors.
There were also presentations to Prof Rafferty, who was attending his final AGM before his retirement on 31 October 2024.
We held this year’s Trust AGM and AMM at Aintree Racecourse on Thursday 21 September 2023.
The event provided an opportunity to find out more about the Trust whilst we reviewed some of our highlights from the last 12 months.
The meeting included hearing speeches from new Chair Rosie Cooper, Chief Executive Prof Joe Rafferty CBE and members of the Board of Directors.

Notice of meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust will take place on Thursday 18 September 2025 between 3.45pm and 5pm at the Trust Headquarters, V7 Building, Kings Business Park, Prescot, L34 1PJ.
This year’s AGM will not be available to join online and can only be attended in person. Capacity is limited so if you want to attend, please confirm your attendance by Friday 5 September 2025 by emailing AGM

- The Auditor’s Report on our Annual Accounts 2024/25.
