Who we are
We provide low secure inpatient services for adults with mental health problems. This includes:

Chesterton Unit - female low secure inpatient unit

Tennyson Unit - female low secure step-down unit
Marlowe, Chesterton and Tennyson units are all based at Hollins Park Hospital in Warrington.
Who is our service for?
Our low secure inpatient services are for adults with mental health problems who are involved in the criminal justice system. This will often be people who have been given a custodial (prison) sentence but have been moved to one of our low secure mental health wards to support their mental health needs.
How to access our service
As our low secure inpatient wards provide specialist mental health services, you can't self-refer to the units. Referrals need to be made by a professional and are allocated by specialist commissioners at NHS England.
