MMP65 Electronic Patient Specific Direction (PSD) for use by Community Nursing Services in Adult Services
This procedure aims to ensure all community nursing staff are aware of the process for the use of electronic Patient Specific Directions (PSD), authorising the administration of medication via the EMIS GP prescribing system. This procedure will support the community nursing service to administer medication safely to patients in line with regulatory requirements.
