This policy outlines the governance framework and procedures for Mersey Care Trust staff and associated parties when engaging with the pharmaceutical industry, Dispensing Appliance Contractors, and suppliers of prescribing-related products. The policy aims to ensure transparency, ethical conduct, and public accountability in interactions that may influence prescribing and commissioning decisions.
This is a supplementary policy to the Standards of Business Conduct Policy (F04), and provides guidance specifically regarding working with pharmaceutical companies and declarations of interest which must be made
