SA08 Fire safety Policy
The purpose of this policy it to provide information and guidance to Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust directors, managers and staff on their responsibilities concerning fire safety at work.
This policy applies to Trust employees and anybody who is or may be impacted upon by work activities of the Trust. The Trust has a duty to ensure that all workplace risks are managed appropriately. This policy has been developed in line with guidance from Department of Health, Health Technical Memorandum 05-01, 05-02 and 05-03.
The scope of this policy applies to all activities and functions undertaken by, or on behalf of, the Trust
