Train to be a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) with our Talking Therapies team, on this fully funded apprenticeship programme with Liverpool John Moores University.
You’ll join us as a Band 4 apprentice, or ‘trainee’ Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, on a 12 month degree programme that will provide you with the professional skills and experience you’ll need to become a qualified ‘PWP’.

Who we're looking for
This apprenticeship is perfect for individuals who are ready to learn, reflect, and develop professional skills in a fast paced NHS service:
- Qualifications: You should have GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 or above, and a Level 3 qualification but no higher than Level 3 for the apprenticeship route
- Passion for improving mental health: We're looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting people's mental health and wellbeing
- Good communicator: You should be able to work well in a team and will learn how to manage your own caseload, keeping the work varied and interesting.
