Mersey Care has temporarily suspended some of its district nursing services across Liverpool and South Sefton following a telephone outage across the Trust earlier today (18 October 2021).
All referrals and requests for care have been temporarily suspended to reduce risk and ensure patient safety,
District nurses are reviewing all of their caseloads and contacting all high risk palliative and catheter patients with a mobile telephone number they can ring if they need a visit today or during the night.
Team Leaders, caseload holders and clinical coordinators have been made aware of the situation and have all the necessary contact numbers:

Patients in North Liverpool - ring 07717 483137
Patients in Central Liverpool - ring 07554 330640
Patients in South Liverpool - ring 075554 332319
After 8pm all patients phoning any of the above numbers will be diverted to the District Nurse out of hours Service on 07867 142363.
