Understanding your thoughts and feelings
Our Mersey Care Mental Health Support Teams have created a range of workbooks to help secondary school-aged young people better understand their thoughts, feelings and emotions, while building practical skills to support their mental wellbeing.
These workbooks are designed for young people experiencing mild emotional wellbeing difficulties. They may not be suitable if you're already receiving specialist mental health support or have been experiencing ongoing mental health difficulties.
If you're not sure what to do next, speak to someone you trust, such as a parent, carer, teacher or a member of your school's Mental Health Support Team. You can also speak to your GP. If you have harmed yourself or are thinking about harming yourself, urgent help is available by calling NHS 111 and selecting the mental health option. In an emergency, call 999.
