The animation provides useful pointers to helping anyone who is suffering from mental health issues, including reaching out to them early, checking in on them to see how they feel and supporting one another, which can make a real difference, make people feel more connected and provide hope when they are struggling.

Dr Noir Thomas, Mersey Care’s Chief Medical Officer, said: “It’s vitally important we connect for everyone’s mental health, and our new animation provides useful advice on how to do that and where to get help when needed.

“We all live very busy lives whether its work, looking after kids or relatives or many other things, but if we can all remember to check in on each other regularly, to helps everyone feel connected and helps avoid potentially more serious issues.”

In addition to the new animation Mersey Care offer a wide range of mental health services to support wellbeing, which include community support teams, talking therapies, and specialist crisis support for those who need urgent help. Anyone in crisis can contact our dedicated urgent help lines for immediate support.
